When installing hte reporting application I get an installation faile message.  No other help is provided.

My laptop has 2GB of memeoryand  running Vista 64bit OS and Office 2007, It is a new laptop.

Is ther a log file or any other way to find out why the install is failing?

Thanks for the reply but after speaking with Radius directly the current version of Reporting does not support Vista.  The next version will support Vists but not Vista 64bit edition.

I was able to install tis on a Win Xp system without issue.

I'd just like to take a moment to clarify the previous posts. Radius is certified for Windows Vista. That certification process covers 32 and 64 bit versions of the operating system, and Radius passed all certification tests. The challenge with Radius and Vista, at the time we released Radius, was that one of the prerequisites for Radius, SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, was not yet compatible with Vista. Microsoft completed their SP2 update after we released. What that meant simply, is that, in order to install Radius 1.1 on Windows Vista, you would have to download and install SQL Server 2005 Express Edition directly from the Microsoft SQL Server download site prior to installing Radius.

Radius 1.5 will release tomorrow and the SQL Server 2005 Express Edition requirement has been removed. Installation on Vista is no longer an issue.

Hope this helps,
Craig
