On our development server, along with the customizations made to CRM, we have also added c360.

Microsoft CRM has a built in tool for exporting any CRM customizations from development to production server.

My question is: Is there a way to use the built in CRM tool to export our customizations while blocking c360 and it's customizations from being exported to our production server.

This is becuase we would like to install c360 after  moving our own customizations to the production server first.

Hi Nick,

The short answer is no (at least not completely by using the Export Customizations settings area).

The only c360 products that have CRM entities are Alerts and MultiCurrency, otherwise our software is housed in separate files and database objects that will not be included in the exporting of CRM Customizations.  If you use the Export Customizations settings area you can select which customizations are included in the export.  Just do not select entities that are related to these c360 products.

If you are also exporting the Sitemap and ISV.config, they will contain references to c360 tools.  You will have to temporarily remove these links from the Development environment using c360 Configuration Center and click the Remove button adjacent to each product listed.  After the export is successful you can add c360 links back into CRM by using this same area and click the Integrate button beside each product.
