Setting Up Webconnect with Corporate Website

I am in the process of setting up our Corporate Website to work with the C360 Webconnect product. We like the features that the WebConnect product offer, but they seem to only work with pretty simple websites.

WE currently have our company website hosted by an offsite provider. WE have our network locked down such that we only allow traffic through our firewall via a VPN connection, or via by e-mail to our mail server. Our corporate website is hosted elsewhere.

From what I understand from the manual, we would need to have the web page for customers to submit inquiries be on our local network. Is this the ONLY way to set-up the software? If so, we are thinking about only hosting this one "contact us" page locally. I am curious how others are doing this, and if anyone could share their set-up as well.

Using Webconnect to publish to server FTP

In our current scenario, our web server is hosted, and we need to be able to publish the form using a FTP connection instead of using virtual directories. Is the possible? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have created a web form which contains 5 various products to download. Once the user clicks the form, the data wiill get added to CRM and then the user will be re-directed to the appropriate location to download the software selected. (This is a different page for each software).

In WebConnect can we use a variable in the redirection URl. If not, how would I accommodate my code to work?

Server Application Unavailable

My company's website has a contact form that uses the Web Connect module to create a lead in our CRM system. Recently we found that when trying to submit this form, we get an error:

Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

I can't find anything in any logs that appears to correspond to a test submit of the form. I'm not sure if it's related, but I have an event log just for c360 stuff and did notice that every minute (almost exactly 60 seconds apart each), I get an error in the event viewer logs saying:

Publishing Multiple forms with different info

I have one form that I have published and it is working correctly right now. I have created several other forms with different fields in them and I need to put them out on the web as well. When I create another capture form, and try to publish it, it doesn't work. Either the second form takes on all the info from the first form, or the first form ends up not working now because it is looking for some of the fields that are in the second form. Basically what I'm trying to ask is, how do I publish more than one form in web connect? Can someone give me any step by step directions or hints or anything? Thank you very much!!!!!!!

I've had a web form running and it's worked severl times with webConnect and creating leads. I tried it this morning and it worked, but now I just tried it again and it throws this error:

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

I haven't changed any settings or anything since I had originally tried it this morning, so what is different? Any ideas on what could have changed or why this error is occurring?

No word wrap in workflow email

I have created some workflows that send emails to certain people when a lead is created and a certain criteria is met. There are some variables in the email that are grabbed from the leads record. When the email is sent, everything is sent correctly except the fact that when a variable is really long, it stays on one line. When the people open the email to read it, they have to scroll to the right to view the entire email because the variable/words do NOT wrap around the page. Is there something I can do to fix this? Thanks!!!

hidden fields

Am I able to create a hidden field in my html page and still grab it from CRM? Right now, I want to create a hidden field for the lead source. Here is my syntax right now:

I'm trying to grab this field, but I'm getting an error saying that the object reference is not set to an instance of an object. I'm assuming this is because of a hidden field, but I need this lead source and do not want the users to see it though. Is this possible? Also I'm using the leadsourcecodename as the fieldmapping. Is this correct? Because when I look at the lead details, I want that drop down menu to automatically be web. Thanks for the help in advance!!!
