There are numerous articles on the web about how to create web forms, as well as how to add javascript validation. That should be a good place for you to start, create a form with one field (email address), and setup webconnect to process that form, test it. If that works, add javascript validation to that field, test it, if that all works, start adding more fields and move on from there.
