Hello, I try to change language in client part of application.

I create ru.xml document, copy all content from en.xml and translate some part of lables (My ru.xml I save as .txt and attach to this post).

Next I go to Remote Registry Editor and change language to "ru" (I attach screenshot to this post).

But localization apply incorrect in word  - I attach screenshot with result in word.

That I do incorrectly?

Additional info:

My OS is Windows 7.

I use word 2007.

I save my "ru.xml" in ANSI encoding.

Anna,

Do you have the latest copy of the Documents Pack Implementation Guide?  I know that it was fairly recently updated, and included the link to the updated document below.

http://www.c360.com/DocumentsPack/c360DocumentsPackImplementationGuide(MSCRMv4.0).pdf

Section 1.5 Language Settings for Documents Core Pack (pages 44 - 46) details how to set language settings for the Documents Core Pack User Interface.

Verify you followed the described setup steps.  If you are still having an issue, let me know and we can dig into this one further.

Sincerely,

My version of documentation is the same as in attached link.

I do folowing steps:

1. Copy en.xml and rename it ru.xml. This is in directory: D:\Program Files (x86)\c360\Documents Core Pack Client for MS CRM 4.0\localization

2. Change values in ru.xml ans save it.

3. Go to registry editor and change language to "ru". (registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\c360\WordMailMergeClient\language)

4. Start word.

Result in first post attachment.

Anna,

It looks like you are following the right steps.  Did you update the language settings for both the Client and the Server?

I try to change language on server and client but no changes.

If I change language to "nl" - language of Word ribbon menu (tab c360) is still english? but in other windows language is "nl". May be my file "ru.xml" is not valid? Can you check it? And why language of Word ribbon menu  didn't change?

It's very important to me, I wand to use your product, but I can't do this without localization.

Anna,

It sounds like you are following the right steps, so I suspect there might be a bug.  I recommend you open a technical support case by sending an email to Support@c360.com.  Reference this forum and that you have been working with me.  They should then be able to work with you to resolve your issue.

Sincerely,
