Importing Price lists

Importing is straight forward. Simply make a Field Mapping to the Name field and you’re done.

Importing Products

The process of the product import is a bit trickier because of all the mandatory fields. Set up the following rule settings.

Data source

The data source must at least contain the following information:

ProductId; ProductName; UnitGroup; DefaultUnit; DecimalsSupported
1;Super bikes support; Hours; Hours; 3

I followed your directions in this forum specifically.  I only mapped the fields you indicated.  The entity fails to be created.  I still get an error code 0x80041103 The specified attribute does not exist on this entity.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am attempting to link the products that I have already imported into CRM to a Product Price List.  I went through the FAQ on your forums and found this posting.

I am attempting to create this relationship between the products that are already in CRM and the Price List that I created so that the items will show up in this price list.  I am not sure though about setting up some of the fields and thought you might be able to help.  Here is what I have.

Field Mappings:
Quantity Selling Option maps to Quantity Selling Option
Pricing Method Maps to Pricing Method
Percentage Maps to Percentage

Match Criteria:
Default Price list EQUALS Price List
Product ID EQUALS Product[productid]

Relations: (This is the one that I think is screwing me Up)

-Default Price List mapped to Price List when it matches "Price Level/Name"
-Product Name mapped to Product when it matches "Product/ID"
-Unit Group mapped to Unit[uomid] when it matches "UOM/base unit"

This is not working though and I am getting Error creating entity and error message 0x80043b11.  Any help figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Joe,

Could you submit your ruleset and a small sample of your data source to support@c360.com for analyzing?

Thanks

I have followed your instructions precisely regarding importing products to the product catalog.

I receive the following error message:

product creation of entity failed: server was unable to process request: <error> .. the specified attribute does not exist on this entity.

This error is similar to another posting last month.

Any assistance would be much appreciated!

If you are getting the error message "The specified attribute does not exist on this entity.", please make sure you are running version 1.0.124.  This version is available below.  This patch is specific to ownership on organizational owned entities, in which "Product" is.
