Hi there,

I have installed the latest version of C360 Audit at a client site. I used the VASTAdminTool to integrate new and existing custom entities. The client did a bulk import of records at the beginning of the week, and at the moment C360 Audit is processing these at a rate of 4 records a minute. This means it will take 4-5 days for Audit to catch up 9about 24000 records to process). When I try to view Audit data for a custom entity (Audit link from within the record), I get the following error message for the shart change summary:

Exception encountered in VIVID CreateVIVIDAuditDataSet. Message there is no row at position 0.poctop of AdditionalFields.

And the following message for the normal change summary:

Exception encountered in VIVID CreateVIVIDAuditDataSet. Message Data Error. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. pocBefore FieldXML.

Also sometimes I get the following error message in the VAST section of the EventViewer (logged at about 10 second intervals):

Could not wrote recs to CoreSourceQueue: SQL DateTime overflow. Must be between 1/1/1753 12:00:00 AM and 31/12/9999 11:59:59 PM.

Also is there a way to speed up the processing of the VastQueueService?

If anyone has a resolution to any of these issues, or is experiencing simular issues, please contact me ASAP.Thank you for your assistance.

Kind regards,

When you ran the VastAdministration.Exe tool, did you have a checkbox for "Process All Custom Entities"?  If so, did you see check that box?  If not, you do not have the latest version of Audit.  That would be a good first step.

I am concerned about your periodic "datetime overflow" messages.  That may indicate that the data that was imported had some invalid dates, and Audit is unable to interpret the data.  Make certain that the data that came in was clean.

An Audit process rate of 4 records per minute is extraordinarily slow.  20 records per minute seems to be what I have seen in my experience for large queues.  There may be certain object types on hold within the Audit system and the processing is being delayed because of it.  There are additional debugging steps that can be implemented, and I recommend emailing support@c360.com for assistance.
