I am looking for some help in embedding the summary window in an iframe for a contact so the user can see the contact info and the summary of activities on the main form.  I have done this with "out of the box" activities and history, but I am having an issue in determining the parameters for the summary screen,

the url: http://crm/c360/summary/summary.aspx&oId=<contact guid> gives an input string error.

Any ideas of how I should form this url for the iframe?

Thanks!

Nick

I am guessing you should also add the type(code) and typename of the contact entity to the url.

Does the following work (fill in your contact guid):

http://crm/c360/Summary/Summary.aspx?oId=<contac guid>&oType=2&oTypeName=contact

Hi,

My client requested the same. I created an IFrame and used Form OnLoad to pass the GUID to the variable in the script and change the url for the IFrame.

IFrame shows the Summary in all Tabs except the first tab Ex:'Information' tab, it just shows the summary shell with no data. the same IFrame when I move it to another Tab works fine and shows all the summary data. Reason for this request was to avoid that one click to see record Summary. Clicking different tab makes it same as clicking Summary in the left navigation.

I'm wondering if there any other approach to make this work on the first Tab.

Appreciate your help

Sharas
