Posted 11/29/2007 11:17:46 AM | | | | PROBLEM: After installing Record Editor, one or more users may experience a 'Metadata could not be retrieved' error. EXPLANATION: This is a result of Record Editor being installed with improper CRM Administrator credentials. RESOLUTION: Execute the following steps to resolve: 1) Uninstall Record Editor via 'Add/Remove Programs'. 2) Install Record Editor again. Go through the install prompts and make sure to enter the proper user name and password of a CRM administrator that is NOT in 'Restricted Access Mode'. This issue will be resolved in an upcoming release.
