Posted 12/13/2007 5:03:43 PM | | | | With Version 2.42 of CTI, you can now simulate a Telephony environment without being connected to a physical phone line. So you can now simulate on a VPC. To use the simulation only, without a live telephone, you can install TelephoneIntegration and register with any given tapi line (e.g. H.232 - Windows supplies several lines by default).
To enable call-simulation you have to start the TelephoneIntegration client with the sim parameter. (e.g. c:\...\Callinfo4CRM.exe sim).
This will enable a new contexmenu-item called Simulation. Clicking on that item will open a telephone simulation window. The simulation covers incoming calls, outgoing calls, picking and hanging up a call. 
- To simulate an outbound call start with entering into number into (1) or use the numberpad at (6).
- Then use (2) tostart the incoming call simulation.
- If you want to simulate a missed call hangup now by pressing (3).
- To pick up the call as if picked up locally, use the button (4) or if you dont use the simple balloon, then you can also use the controls on the balloon.
- To hangup as if on the local phone, use button (5).
