I saw another post about this being related to IIS permissions. Can someone expand on this? |
| Posted 9/8/2008 1:08:06 PM | | | | I use CRM 4 demo installation with organisation name 'Microsoft CRM' and when I try to validate the installation using the licensing tool 2.6 for the CRM v4.0 licenses it reports me the same error. An error has occured while validating the licensing information: The request failed with tthe HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. If I use the licensing tool for CRM v3.0 licenses on the same server, the validation is ok but that would install the wrong version of the licences... I'm running as the local administrator of the server... What setting needs to be modified to make the installation work ?
