Posted 3/9/2006 4:42:00 AM | | | This question has been asked a lot of times on the crm-newsgroups, and now I wondered if a solution is possible using the C360 SDK: Is it possible to construct a custom Lookup-dialog, specifically one where the lookup-entries are filtered by the parent. Please forgive if the answer should be obvious from the documentation - I have not been able to find it.
For instance, if clicking on the primary contact button for an account, I only want to see the contacts that belong to the account in question. Apparently this is not possible with the standard SDK, unless you rewrite the entire lookup application.
I have not been able to deduce if it is possible with the C360 SDK; has anyone tried something similar, or is it not possible?
kind regards,
Henrik Nielsen

This feature is not available in our SDK. However, I agree with you that this would be very useful so I will add it to the which list for the next release. The next release is scheduled for March 31st and I will make an announcement next week listing all the new features that will be delivered. Please forgive if the answer should be obvious from the documentation - I have not been able to find it. Do you mean you didn't find the answer to your question or you didn't find the documentation? If you are looking for the documentation, you will find it here: http://www.c360.com/Forums/Topic52-8-1.aspx
