Is it possible if we use Customer portal for other entities instead of service.  Basically i need a partner portal , where partner can come and  edit accounts and work with some other entities instead of service activity.

is it possible with customer portal? Please send me mail or reply here.

At this point, the Customer Portal is mainly a Service Portal meant for tracking/updating Service Cases.

Using the Custom Tab feature, you may be able to develop your own modules to access other entities etc.

If anyone has developed any such modules for other entities, please let me know as our company is interested in purchasing them.

The most likely application is for our resellers/partners to be able to access and modify their customer accounts.

Thanks!
