Configuration Items (CI)

c360 ITSM provides a native, centralized data model that sustains the full IT service lifecycle. Relationship mapping between CIs is core to the c360 ITSM CMDB, providing a hierarchical structure and presents these relationships in a way that makes viewing and modification simple and intuitive. Add any custom attributes to physical and logical CIs that reflect the assets within your organization and support your business needs. Additionally, define multiple relationship types between CIs in an ad-hoc manner to further clarify your IT environment.

Manage the lifecycle of the enterprise’s computer systems and networks, including all hardware and software components. Capture and visualize all your infrastructure’s attributes, creating parent/child relationships between the CIs. Define as many CIs as needed, manage and present data about Configuration Items and their relationships, such as status, type, version, warranty, model or ownership.

CMDB

The CMDB contains not just CIs, but also all other entities related to the ITIL standards, including incidents, services, problems, contracts, SLAs and solutions. Integrated modeling enhances orchestration and management of CIs across all ITIL processes, including incident, problem, contract and asset management.

Finally, integration with third-party asset discovery tools is made simple with the c360 ITSM framework. You can leverage direct database access, web services, workflows and plug-ins to sync information bi-directionally.
