CDC Software Launches New c360 High-Tech Vertical Solutions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Platform

March 10, 2009-
c360 Solutions, a CDC Corporation (NASDAQ: CHINA) company and the leading provider of add-on products, industry solutions and development tools for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM today announced at the Microsoft CONVERGENCE 2009 show that it has expanded its c360 product line of add-on applications for Microsoft Dynamics CRM with the addition of a new set of solutions designed specifically to address the needs of many high-tech companies.

C360 High-Tech solutions expand the c360 product line and help enhance its position as one of the premiere sets of add-on resource tools for Microsoft Dynamics CRM currently available. Some of the features and benefits of c360 High-Tech include the ability to publish technical support knowledgebases to the web, which helps prospects and/or customers to find solutions without assistance; the ability for customers to update their profiles online; helping to improve the accuracy and speed of forecasting revenue; and helping to improve service and support efficiency by enabling the creation/viewing and editing of customer service and technical support cases.

These new components, which are now available, are collectively referred to as “Productivity Packs,” and include, the:

Core Productivity Pack, which includes:
  • Record Editor, an easy way to edit/modify multiple CRM records within a single screen regardless of where it has been entered in the system
  • Relationship Explorer, a tool that displays existing relationships between CRM Records
  • Sharepoint integration, which allows the creation of Sharepoint sites for CRM records of any type
  • “c360 alerts,” which allow CRM users to add critical data to CRM records so others are immediately notified of it upon accessing the CRM record
  • Console, which allows Microsoft CRM users to design their CRM workspace in virtually any way they like, with fewer clicks and screens.

  • Sales Productivity Pack, which includes:
  • Forecast Manager, which helps to improve sales forecast accuracy by simplifying the process of reviewing and updating sales opportunity forecast information
  • Web Connect, which allows companies using Microsoft CRM to easily integrate their website to Microsoft CRM so they can capture lead and web visitor activities

  • Service Productivity Pack, which provides:
  • Monitoring of one or more Microsoft CRM queues; converting inbound emails into services cases
  • An improved CRM workplace screen
  • Customer Portal, which enables users to connect their website with their Microsoft CRM installation, allowing their customers to search their CRM knowledgebase, update their contact details, create/view/edit CRM service cases and access custom functionality online.

“The latest c360 solution set directly addresses the needs of many high-tech companies that operate in a fast-moving environment and require the ability to manage large amounts of customer information quickly,” said Lisa Patrick, vice president of Global Sales and Operations. “In today’s economic times, the loss of even one customer could impact a company’s growth and profitability. This is especially true for high-tech companies, many of which are measured by their customers on the level of customer service delivered. This vertical solution features functionality that includes multi-field searching, editable grids, relationship charting, knowledge base, and personal consoles, which we believe helps raise customer satisfaction levels while delivering a quick return on investment for high-tech enterprises.”
