c360 Reporting: Report Authoring Tool for
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

Reportingc360 Reporting is a an Easy-to-use Powerful Report Authoring Tool that allows CRM users to easily and quickly generate reports to access their most import asset: their information.Designed for people who make reports, c360 Reporting delivers a results -oriented user experience with the look and feel of Microsoft Office 2007. CRM report designers can easily create reports in minutes, using their CRM Filtered Views, ensuring the security of their data once the reports are published back to the reporting server. CRM-specific hidden parameters are easily added to the reports, further enhancing the overall integration of reporting in Microsoft CRM.

Using the 'Repurpose rather than Recreate' approach, c360 Reporting gives report designers the unique ability to design, search, re-use and securely share any report or report component. As a result of leveraging existing reports and report components, Organizations can decrease report deployment time, reduce the time, and costs required to deploy reports.

Report Authoring Tool also leverages the c360 CRM Add-in which will enable CRM customers to easily modify their existing reports, create new reports as well as leverage existing investment in creating queries in Microsoft CRM using the Advanced Find feature. The CRM add-in enables users to easily connect to CRM and also contains a set of common report templates to help users quickly create new reports based on data coming from their CRM system. The features of the CRM add-in are

  • Provides users with template reports for getting started
  • Report creation on saved views from CRM Advanced Find
  • Users need not learn how to query database and understand SQL to create a CRM report

Report Authoring Tool has 2 editions

1. Producer Edition
  • Targeted at all members of the organization who may also include IT professionals who are familiar with the underlying structure of the source for their data
  • Full version with no restrictions
  • Able to create new connections or queries
  • Able to publish to Reporting Services
  • Able to use CRM add-in functionality
  • Add-in/SDK documentation provided

2. Analyzer Edition

  • Targeted at the Business Analyst or report creator who has no knowledge of the underlying structure of the source for their data Create new Customer Service Cases
  • Report Editor
  • Can create new reports and report items
  • Able to use existing items
  • Unable to create new connections or queries
  • Cannot publish to Reporting Services
  • Able to use CRM add-in functionality

Important Installation Information: The cost of Reporting includes new releases for a period of one year from initial purchase date. In addition, the cost of Reporting includes direct technical assistance with any product defects. The cost of Reporting does not cover installation related questions or administrative and user training. These services can be provided by c360 at an additional fee (see 'yahoo store' to purchase) or can be provided by a c360 Certified Partner. Fees for c360-provided installation assistance are listed below:

- Remote Installation Assistance: $495 (one time fee) for scheduled remote one-on-one assistance by a c360 technician; fee includes guided installation assistance, product configuration, connection to a data source and creation of a sample report. Basic Report is defined as a tabular report pulling data from 2 tables, no charts, complex formulae or expressions
